Executive Vice President, General Manager Brad Vassar of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. (Southern) -- the country's largest wine and spirits distributor -- announced today the resignation of David Bart, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of Nevada (SWS-NV). Bart's departure was effective January 17, 2014, and, going forward, he will pursue other interests.

Regarding Bart's departure, Vassar said, "David joined Southern a decade ago in a senior sales role in our Illinois division, and thereafter moved over to the leadership team of our Nevada division. He has done a very good job for us over that period of time, in a number of different roles, and we are going to miss him. I thank David for his service to Southern and wish him well in his future endeavors."
