The Tumiritinga community in Minas Gerais now has a Customer Service Unit located in the central town square in front of the city hall. The place is a reference point for the people, which can answer questions and monitor the actions being performed by Samarco.

To work at the Unit, two residents of the city, who take turns in two shifts, were hired. The place is open Monday thru Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Samarco also offers other service channels: Customer Service 24 hours, available by calling 0800-0312303 and by e-mail relacionamento@samarco.com; and Ombudsman, available by calling 0800- 721 0717.
Other towns along the basin of the Doce Rive, such as Colatina, Baixo Guandu and Linhares, also have Customer Service Units for the population.
