True Link Financial, a financial services and technology company, is announcing today that Peter J. Wall has joined the organization as the Director of Fiduciary Services. In this new role, Mr. Wall will lead the team in growing its investment advisory services. Mr. Wall comes to True Link from BOK Financial, where he launched and spent seven years building the dedicated Disability and Elder Trust Services division. He is based at True Link’s new Denver-area office.

With over 18 years of investment experience at nationally chartered bank trust companies, Mr. Wall focuses his financial services efforts in elder law and is known throughout the United States for his special needs investment, administration, and planning capabilities. Prior to BOKF, he built and managed trust services practices at American National Bank and the Bank of Cherry Creek. Mr. Wall is also a published author, most notably in the Elder Law in Colorado Red Book, Fourth Edition.

In the first speaking engagement of his new role at True Link, Mr. Wall will be discussing trust administration best practices on February 8, 2019, at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law’s 15th Annual Changes and Trends Affecting Special Needs Trusts conference.

Mr. Wall is a frequent speaker on the topics of special needs planning, estate planning, taxation, and trust administration. He has been a presenter and faculty member at many national conferences, including the National Down Syndrome Congress, the Annual Autism Society National Conference, and Stetson Law’s National Conference on Special Needs Planning and Special Needs Trusts. He also served for three years as a faculty member at the Colorado Bar Association’s Elder Law Retreat.

“To provide financial services tailored to people with disabilities, vulnerable seniors, and people in recovery from addiction, we hire the industry’s best,” said True Link CEO Kai Stinchcombe. “Pete is a genuine leader and innovator in this field, having built from the ground up one of the largest regional special needs planning and investment practices in the country.”

Mr. Wall believes joining True Link Financial will enable him to have the greatest possible impact on the lives of people with disabilities and their families. He said, “After spending almost 20 years at big bank trust companies, I wanted to join a company where I could truly effect significant change in the lives of my clients. Being the Director of Fiduciary Services at True Link will allow me to make a tangible difference in one of the most underserved, yet most deserving populations in our country. True Link is a true leader in the industry, so I’m proud to be a part of this amazing team and look forward to shaping the future of financial services for the people we serve.”
