Argentum today announced that Loren Shook, Chairman & CEO of Silverado, based in Irvine, California, was elected as the new Chairman of the Argentum Board of Directors. Most recently, he served as Vice Chairman of the Board. Shook officially assumed the Chairman’s position during the 2016 Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference held in Denver, Colorado.

I’m honored to have been selected as Chairman of the Argentum Board of Directors, and I’m excited for what we can achieve together as we serve to provide the best quality of life for seniors and influence aging in America.”

Additionally, new members were elected to join the Board: Jack Callison, CEO, Enlivant; Labeed Diab, COO, Brookdale; Judd Harper, President, The Arbor Company; Justin Hutchens, CIO & EVP, HCP; Robert Probst, EVP & CFO, Ventas; Andy Smith, President & CEO, Brookdale; and Collette Valentine, CEO & COO, Integral Senior Living.

Argentum also announced the creation of new committees, represented by members of the Argentum Board of Directors and individuals appointed from member organizations: Workforce Development, Quality Improvement, Operational Excellence, Consumer Choice, Senior Living Public Policy, PAC and Advocacy Fund, and Legal Affairs.
