They are also encouraging farmers to use SPS Online in 2014, if they have not used it before.
Find out more here.

3 February

From 3 February onwards postcards will be sent to those who have yet to use SPS Online.
Who gets the postcard? - All 'paper' farmers, so all those who applied on paper in 2013 (plus new farmers who have registered for 2014) should get one of the postcards, and may get a follow up call from the RPA.

20 February

By 20th February - Starter Packs including how to get started with SPS Online 2014 will have been issued to farmers yet to apply online.
Who gets the starter pack? - As per the information on postcards set out above.  However, RPA will not contact any farmers who have since submitting their 2013 paper claim registered and enrolled to SPS Online.

This is also the opening day of the 2014 SPS application window. RPA will issue email confirming that the SPS online system is live in 2014 to all those who have registered a valid email with the RPA, regardless of what method used to claim SPS in 2013.

From 20th February - RPA will be following up the postcards and Starter Packs mailings with outbound calling to some of these farmers.

Mid-March

Paper 2014 forms and paper guidance issued to those who applied via a paper form in 2013.
