At the meeting, Mr Alex Thursby updated information and development strategy of the Group at Asia Pacific region which includes Vietnam. He said, in recent 5 years, the ANZ Bank always considers Asia Pacific region as a strategic partner and Vietnam is an important market. In fact, this region has contributed up to 20% of the Group's turnover.

On behalf of Vietnam Ministry of Finance, Deputy Minister Truong Chi Trung hoped that in the coming time, ANZ Bank will further develop in Vietnam and contribute more to Vietnam's socio- economy. He affirmed that Vietnam always creates investment and cooperation opportunities to foreign credit organizations in general and ANZ Bank in particular.
