Jakarta, 06/01/2016 MoF - Customs office of Tanjung Priok managed to foil various prohibited good valued for IDR1 billion. The goods were ex-import product of Free Trade Zone (FTZ) of Batam directed to other area within customs area illegally. It can be ascertained that the goods were not equipped with FTZ customs declaration; PPFTZ-01 document and outward manifest.

The enforcement was conducted by Customs office of Tanjung Priok incorporation with Customs office of Batam as well as Police Office of Tanjung Priok Port. The goods were liquor, textile and textile products, one unit of motor machine 'Grundfos' Marking DK-8850, 2 set underwater drone merk OpenROV, machine spare parts, and meat. Besides not include customs documents, the goods transported by KM. Kelud were subject to prohibitions and/or restrictions (LARTAS).

The head of Customs office of Tanjung Priok Fadjar Donny Tjahyadi said that the enforcement was also performed toward shipment or transfer of goods that are included into prohibited and/or its import is restricted.

Based on data, the goods were originally from Japan, Hong Kong, United States, Malaysia, South Korea, Nedherland, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom. They are determined as goods claimed by the state which will be proposed to be State's Asset in accordance to its purpose. (as)
