Ministry of Economy of Republic of Armenia : Suren Karayan received the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation

On January 18, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexei Gruzdev. Minister Suren Karayan greeted the Deputy Minister and mentioned that the meeting is important to discuss both bilateral trade and economic relations and agenda issues of the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia to the Russian Federation.

Alexei Gruzdev expressed gratitude to the Minister for the meeting and represented the directions and results of the activity of Trade Advisory Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Minister Suren Karayan spoke about several issues on economic development, establishment of joint investment fund, improving the money transfer process, close cooperation in the field of agricultural machinery, establishment of industrial cooperatives, import replacement, export growth. Suren Karayan stressed the importance of establishing free economic zone on the area near the border with Iran within the framework of cooperation with the EAEU.

Suren Karayan and Alexei Gruzdev also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
