Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance of Is : Iran, Russia plan to exchange customs documents electronically

(SHADA: TEHRAN) -- Masoud Karbassian also pointed to the recent talks between the two countries' presidents to expand economic relations and said: We are prepared to issue electronic certificates for the goods transmitted from Iran to Russia.

Using electronic systems, Iran's Customs have high ability to prevent violations of customs documents and we can electronically submit the documents of our exported goods to the customs of the countries to which Iranian goods are exported, he added.

Karbassian stressed the need to facilitate and expedite the customs and trade affairs between Iran and neighboring countries, and said: I hope to see more Russia's cooperation in determining the authenticity of the construction of Iranian goods electronically, and with regard to the Customs Agreement between Iran and Russia, the exchange of information and data can be done in an electronic form with greater ease.

According to the report, Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan Jagaryan also pointed to the good relations between the two countries in various fields, especially economic relations, and called for supervision and customs cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the goods exported from Iran.
