Long Island Cactus Salons Offer Special Services for American Heart Association

LONG ISLAND, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 20, 2014) -  Joseph Secreti, owner and founder of 22 Cactus Salon and Spa locations in Long Island, is working to raise money and promote awareness for the American Heart Association (AHA)'s "Go Red" campaign -- spreading awareness of the number one killer of women -- heart disease.

Cactus Salon and Spa has reported successful partnerships with "Go Red" in the past, and therefore are continuing their efforts this year.

"At Cactus Salon and Spa, we are consistently looking to team up with programs that help the community, such as the AHA. Raising awareness about heart disease effecting millions of women is a great cause," says Secreti.

Complimentary red dress pins will be available at Cactus Salon locations during the promotion of "Go Red". All donations to the AHA will enter donors into a raffle drawing to win a basket of products and tools as well as a Cactus Salon gift card.

Cactus Salon and Spa asks that those in and around Long Island participate in their efforts with AHA and come out to any of their locations to make a donation. There are a few ways that a donation to the AHA can be made at a Cactus Salon and Spa:

1. $15 for a red hair strand
2. $55 for a Keratin Complex Red Carpet Blow-dry (Keratin Complex Cocktail on the Long Hair Menu)
3. Purchase any Keratin Complex Hair Care Product and 10% will be donated to the AHA
4. Attend the Go Red for Women Luncheon on Wed. Feb. 12th at the Crest Hollow Country Club where Cactus will be providing complimentary chair massage to the guests on site.
