Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the 11th International Invention Fair in the Middle East to be held from Jan 27 to 30, 2019.

On the sidelines of a press conference held at the Kuwait Science Club premises to announce the fair's kick off, Executive Manager Group Public Relations and Media at (KFH), Yousef Abdullah AlRuwaieh affirmed KFH keenness to participate in the international invention fair that is being held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. This comes in line with KFH strategy in supporting the scientific research and inventions, while underlining the capabilities of innovators in the Kuwaiti society.

AlRuwaieh added that KFH plays key role in supporting the inventors and giving them the opportunity to display their initiatives in such a great event.

'KFH puts creativity and innovation as a pillar in its business model. The Bank's strategy of corporate social responsibility prioritizes scientific research and invention in different fields. This contributes in the development of the country and the society', he added.

It is worth noting that the winning inventions will receive valuable prizes. 'The total value of the prizes is around $50,000. The main prize is $15,000, KSC's prize is $10,000, the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva presents a $5,000 prize and the GCC Patent Office presents 50,000 Saudi riyals, in addition to a prize presented by the World Intellectual Property Organization and another prize by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations.
