Government of Canada : Technical Briefing to provide an update on Canada's engagement in Iraq and the region

Media are invited to a technical briefing where they will be provided with an update on the Government of Canada's ongoing strategy to counter Daesh as well as its stabilization, development and humanitarian efforts in Iraq and the region.

• Brigadier-General Steve Kelsey, Chief of Staff, Combined Joint Task Force Land Component Command-Iraq; and
• Sean Boyd, Director, Strategic Policy and Programming Coherence - Middle East Development, Global Affairs Canada; and
• Serge Koskinen, Deputy Director, International Humanitarian Assistance Operations, Global Affairs Canada
