Fitch Withdraws Health Management Associates, Inc.'s Ratings

Fitch Ratings has withdrawn the ratings of Health Management Associates, Inc. (Health Management), including the 'BB-' Issuer Default Rating (IDR). Effective Jan. 27, 2014, Health Management was acquired by Community Health Systems. Borrowings under the bank facility were paid down and the agreement was cancelled; most of the rest of the existing debt has been refinanced.

The following ratings of Health Management have been withdrawn:

--IDR 'BB-';

--Senior secured bank facility 'BB+';

--Senior secured notes due 2016 'BB+';

--Senior unsecured notes due 2020 'BB-';

--Senior subordinated convertible notes due 2028 'B'.
