FRANKFURT, June 5 (Reuters) - The European Central Bank said on Wednesday it had picked three new supervisors, including Ireland's deputy central bank Governor Sharon Donnery, to help oversee the euro zone's largest banks.

Donnery, Portugal's Pedro Machado and France's Patrick Montagner will join the ECB's Supervisory Board in the autumn.

They are set to replace Edouard Fernandez-Bollo, who will leave in August; Kerstin af Jochnick, due to step down in September; and Elizabeth McCaul, whose term ends in November.

The new appointees will represent the ECB on the Supervisory Board, which also includes representatives from 21 European Union countries. (Reporting by Francesco Canepa; Editing by Richard Chang)
