On Monday, February 27th, 5:30pm - 7:30pm the 'Wild Hog Supper ' a Georgia tradition dating back to 1962, marks the opening of the legislative session each year. (Click here to learn more.) In 2014, the Georgia Food Bank Association took over the organization of this event with ticket sales benefiting statewide programs that raise food and funds for Georgia's 8 regional food banks.

This year, please join our Honorary Host Committee Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black, Chairman John Wilkinson, Senate Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Committee, Chairman Tom McCall, House Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Committee, and the Executive Directors of Georgia's 8 Regional Food Banks as we celebrate the start of the legislative session by raising funds to benefit Farm to Food Bank, a program of the Georgia Food Bank Association. Georgia farmers donate over 13 million pounds of fresh produce to the food bank network each year, helping to ensure all children, seniors, and working families have access to healthy meals.
