FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer (DDF) is excited to announce its 10th Annual Night of Laughter which will take place on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Stage 954 at The Casino @ Dania Beach. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. The night will feature hilarious comedy, delicious hors d'oeuvres, drinks, raffles and more. All proceeds will help fund research initiatives toward finding a cure for stomach cancer.

The night wouldn't be possible without the leadership of Event Chair Mitch Starr and the assistance of his amazing committee. Mitch, who is chairing the event for the second year in a row, is excited to support DDF's continued efforts to make a difference in the stomach cancer arena.

"DDF's Night of Laughter is a very special event that I look forward to being a part of each year," said Mitch Starr. "Comedy doesn't fix everything, but it always feels good to keep things light and on a positive note as so many are facing such a serious and life threatening disease. It's even better knowing that the money raised from this amazing event is going to help improve lives."

Tickets are $60 in advance and $70 at the door and include complimentary cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a comedy show. Sponsorship opportunities are available and include reserved seating along with many other perks. Raffle tickets will be sold separately. About Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer
DDF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about gastric cancer, advancing funding for research, and providing education and support internationally to patients, families, and caregivers. DDF seeks as its ultimate goal to make the cure for stomach cancer a reality.

DDF was founded in 2009 by Debbie Zelman after she was diagnosed with stage IV incurable gastric cancer in 2008 and given only weeks to live. Debbie is considered a pioneer by many for bringing awareness to the plight of stomach cancer patients worldwide and the lack of federal funding for stomach cancer research. She achieved all of this while receiving hundreds of rounds of chemotherapy in addition to daily oral treatments. Debbie passed away on December 23, 2017, at the age of 50, almost a decade later. As a result of her leadership, DDF now has a Scientific and Medical Advisory Board, comprised of world-renowned physicians, and chapters throughout the United States and in Canada and Germany. DDF strives to continue Debbie's mission and make her dream come true. To learn more about DDF, please visit us at www.DebbiesDream.org.
