STOUGHTON, Wis. - A candlelight ski scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 13 at Lake Kegonsa State Park has been rescheduled to Feb. 10, due to a current lack of snow on the park trails. A cross-country ski demo that was scheduled for Sunday, Jan, 15 at the Capital Springs State Recreation Area has also been cancelled due to lack of snow.

The rescheduled Lake Kegonsa will include approximately 2 miles of trail lit with hundreds of glowing luminaries. When you are finished, warm up by the bonfire and enjoy hot cocoa and baked goods sold by the Lake Kegonsa State Park Friends Group. This a ski event only. Hikers, snowshoers and pets are prohibited on groomed cross country ski trails.
