Grodsky brings over 30 years of healthcare executive leadership experience working with growth stage health IT companies to support both the strategic and tactical needs of hospitals and health systems, health plans, specialty provider networks and large physician group practices.

Grodsky joins Collective from SOC Telemed, where he most recently served as chief growth officer providing leadership to sales, client success and marketing. Through his team’s efforts, SOC dramatically grew bookings and nearly doubled the sales pipeline—all while maintaining a client retention rate higher than 90 percent.

Prior to joining SOC, Grodsky served as enterprise growth officer with Zirmed—now Waystar—a revenue cycle management technology company. Grodsky was previously the chief growth officer for Optum’s Risk and Quality Solutions business and chief sales officer for Executive Health Resources, itself acquired by Optum and where he was critically involved in growing the business from 50 hospitals to over 2,700 and increasing annual revenue from approximately $5 million to $720 million over 10 years.

“I’m thoroughly impressed by the caliber of people who work at Collective,” says Grodsky. “Every single person—from entry level to upper leadership—is committed to working together for the noble cause of tearing down care silos and connecting our entire healthcare system to get patients the care they need, when they need it and in the best care setting. I’m thrilled to be a part of this team.”

As part of a rapid expansion following the announcement of its Kleiner Perkins-led Series A funding round in November 2017, Collective’s network now connects patient data across all 50 states. Physicians, nurses and other care team members benefit from patient insights sourced from every state in the nation. Care teams across all points of care are served by the Collective platform, including those based in hospitals, ACOs, emergency departments, physician practices, long-term and post-acute care facilities, and behavioral health practices.

“Wayne is a high-energy, uniquely-passionate force to be reckoned with. He has a distinguished go-to-market and business development track record—which he has demonstrated at several highly successful and transformational health IT companies,” says Chris Klomp, CEO of Collective Medical. “Given his alignment with Collective’s mission, his passion and his extensive experience, we are delighted for him to join our leadership team, share his knowledge and help drive our expansion to enable care teams across the country to collectively care more efficiently for their most vulnerable patients and ensure none slip through the cracks of healthcare.”
