A portion of MacDill Avenue from Mason Street to Stovall Street will close on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, as part of the Capitol Improvement Project. The city contractor will temporary close the southbound lane of MacDill Avenue from Mason Street to Stovall Street at 9 am on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 to cut and plug the old water line. It is anticipated that the lanes on MacDill Avenue will be reopen to traffic in both directions by 3 pm, weather permitting.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be maintained at all times with delays.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
