The Southeast District RCMP Shediac Detachment is seeking the public's help after a vehicle struck a house in Shediac Cape.

On January 24, 2018, around 4:30 a.m., police were called to Route 134, where a pickup truck had collided with a house and a parked SUV before crossing the road and landing in a ditch. The driver of the truck fled the scene on foot. No one was injured in the home, but the house and the parked SUV were extensively damaged.

Police later determined the truck involved in the crash was stolen from a home on Louisbourg Street in Shediac earlier the same morning. It is described as a grey 2009 Silverado 4X4 crew cab.

Anyone with information about the driver, or who has information that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact Shediac RCMP at 506-533-5151.
