TUCSON, Ariz. - Border Patrol is inviting community members to join them on their first southeastern Arizona 'Coffee with a Cop' event on January 10, 2018. The event is set to run from 8 to 10 a.m., at Brews Brothers Coffee Shop, located at 4023 E Ramsey Rd in Sierra Vista.

The event will give attendees a chance to ask questions and discuss issues of concern with U.S. Border Patrol agents as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen lines of communication in Border Communities.

'Coffee with a Cop' is a national campaign started in 2011 as a way for law enforcement to interact with the citizens they serve. These informal gatherings help build trust between law enforcement and community stakeholders.

While the Border Patrol is dedicated to reducing illegal activity in and near border communities, they are also committed to fostering and contributing to the betterment the communities in which they live and serve.
