ANCHOR QUESTION OFF-CAMERA (ENGLISH) SAYING:

What were some of the stronger performers within equity?

KEN FISHER, AUTHOR 'PLAN YOUR PROSPERITY', LIPPER (ENGLISH) SAYING:

Your book highlights mistakes that people make in retirement planning. What is the number one misconception people have about the whole process?

I think the number one problem people have is to focus on rigid formulas that lead them to being too conservative in their retirement for their actual individual needs. They tend to operate on functions like the old formula adage- take 100, subtract your age from it and that's the amount you should have in equities. Or something other comparable as a rigid formula, which is not about them, it's really about the formula. The right answer is that the planning is something people should do about themselves and they know themselves and there's a series of questions they should take themselves through and the planning should be addressed towards those questions.

Generally speaking, are people under-invested in stocks?

KEN FISHER, AUTHOR 'PLAN YOUR PROSPERITY', LIPPER (ENGLISH) SAYING:

A, yes and B, that's normal after a decade where stock returns have disappointed people because people tend to follow what's gone on in recent times and mimic it. So investors in the aftermath of 2007-2009 have been steadily de-equitizing.
