Bupa Luxol's foreign import William Ahlberg is the BOV Basketball Player of the Month for December 2017. Patricia Arguello (Starlites GIG) won the Women's award while Depiro's Jack Nygaard won the award for the Men's Amateur League.

Hailing from Sweden, Ahlberg leads the assists sheet this season with 4.6 assists per game. During December Ahlberg scored 85 points (28.33ppg) averaging 57% from the field (20 from 35) and 84% from the free-throw line scoring 21 from 25 attempts. He also attracted 21 fouls in 4 games.

Patricia Arguello scored 60 points in 3 matches (20ppg) with an astounding 90% from the free throw line (19 from 21) and 47% in two-point shots (16 from 34). The Spaniard leads in assists and rebounds this season averaging 5 assists and 20.33 rebounds per game complemented by 2.67 steals per game.
