Rick Sharga, executive vice president with Auction.com, the nation's leading online real estate marketplace, has been named by Inman News as one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders for the second consecutive year.

The Inman 100 report is an annual list of thought leaders, power brokers, dealmakers and entrepreneurs who embody "ingenuity, strength, conviction, power, persistence and progress," according to Inman News. Sharga was again chosen among hundreds of reader nominations and selection-committee recommendations.

"With more than 30 years of experience in real estate, mortgage and technology marketing, Rick Sharga is one of the country's most frequently quoted sources on real estate, mortgage and foreclosure trends," the report stated.

Sharga is Auction.com's chief spokesman on topics such as the U.S. housing market, mortgage industry, foreclosures, and trends impacting the commercial and international real estate markets. He has been featured on CNBC, CBS and Fox News, and in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and countless other financial and trade media.

"Rick is among only a handful of industry veterans with experience spanning both technology and real estate trends," said Jeff Frieden, Auction.com chief executive officer. "His contributions will be invaluable to the entire Auction.com team as we continue to drive a fundamental change in how real estate is bought and sold."

In addition to Sharga, the unranked list of 100 individuals features leaders from the industry's most relevant and innovative organizations - Quicken Loans, CoreLogic, Trulia, Zillow, Redfin, DocuSign, the National Association of Realtors, Realogy, and top-tier brokerages - whose work continually impacts the future of real estate.
