Acerus Pharmaceuticals Corporation (TSX:ASP) today announced the voting results from its Annual General Meeting held on June 20, 2016 in Toronto, Ontario. The total number of shares represented in person or by proxy at the meeting was 126,757,709, representing 59.48% of the total issued and outstanding Acerus shares.

Election of Directors

The five (5) candidates nominated for election to the Acerus Board of Directors and listed in the Company's Management Information Circular, dated May 13, 2016, were elected by a majority of the shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the meeting. Appointment of Auditors

Acerus also announced today that its shareholders have approved the re-appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Auditor of Acerus to hold office until the next annual meeting of shareholders.
