AEG, Presenter of the Amgen Tour of California, Will Make an Unprecedented Announcement Pertaining to a New UCI Ruling

Cannondale Riders Peter Sagan, Ted King and Others On-Hand to Make Historic Announcement Following Announcement and Lunch, Media Invited to Train Alongside Cannondale Riders Including Sagan, Basso & King Over Demanding 'Rock Store Climb'

WHAT:		Amgen Tour of California representatives will announce the identity of the nine Pro Tour cycling teams set to race at the 2014 Amgen Tour of California. Representatives will also announce their intention to take advantage of a new UCI ruling that will result in a dynamic competition in May. The press announcement will take place during a break at the Cannondale Pro Cycling team's annual media week program attended by the full Cannondale team.
		Following the press conference, riders and other special guests will be available for interviews before the start of the Rock Store Ride, an aggressive 25-mile loop with 2,200 feet of climbing, led by the Cannondale team. Reporters who are qualified riders are welcome to participate and must RSVP in advance.
		America's premier cycling event, the Amgen Tour of California is a Tour de France-style cycling road race presented by AEG that challenges the world's top professional cycling teams to compete along a demanding course from May 11-18, 2014.
