Corporate dealmakers from three of the largest companies in Connecticut - Pitney Bowes, United Technologies and Thomson Reuters - will present their insights on growth strategies, including acquisitions, at this year's first monthly networking meeting of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG CT). The meeting will be held on Friday, January 10th from 7:30 to 9:30 am at the Stamford Marriott.

ACG CT President Karin (McKittrick) Kovacic said, "Our January meeting is a must-attend for many of Connecticut's most-active dealmakers, lenders and deal advisors. Given the state of the deal market as we enter 2014, the comments of our three panelists will be eagerly listened to. At the same time, the networking potential of this event is, as always, a great feature for members and non-members alike."

The panelists are:

  • Pam Tomczik, Vice President, Business Development - Intellectual Property & Science at Thomson Reuters;
  • Jeff Brennan, Vice President, Corporate Development at Pitney Bowes Inc.; and
  • Bill Striebe, Vice President, Corporate Development - Climate, Controls & Security Systems at United Technologies.

They will discuss their companies' business strategies for growth and equity appreciation and how those strategies were developed and implemented, and will also provide examples of recent sales or purchases that demonstrate their organizations' growth and development.

The panel's moderator will be Michael Carter, the founder and Managing Director of Carter Morse & Mathias, a 25-year-old investment banking firm headquartered in Southport, Connecticut.

Members of the media are invited to attended free of charge. To reserve your spot, please contact Laura Brophy at lbrophy@marketcompr.com.
