Mr. Kerai continued his career in finance by assuming the joint roles of Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") and Head of Information Technology ("IT") and Premises at ABN AMRO in Karachi, Pakistan.
During his tenure, ABN AMRO expanded its franchise in Pakistan.
Mr. Kerai was then asked to take on a regional role as Chief Finance Officer, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.
In his expanded capacity, Mr. Kerai looked after the finance function in 13 countries in Asia.
In July 2005, he joined NIB as Chief Finance Officer.
Currently, he is company secretary and also heading Strategy, Planning & Alignment Group (SPAG) at NIB Bank.
Mr. Kerai graduated from the London School of Economics.
He then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Robson Rhodes in London.
