Established in 2007 by Thomas Dangl, Engelbert J. Dockner, Thomas Steinberger and Josef Zechner, the firm was formerly known ae Institut für Quantitatives Asset Management GmbH and changed their name to Spängler IQAM Invest Asset Management GmbH in 2012 when the strategic partnership between Carl Spängler Kapitalanlagegesellschaft m.b.H. and Institut für Quantitatives Asset Management GmbH merged. Spängler IQAM is based in Vienna and caters to institutional and private investors. They develop tailored investment products and solutions focused on asset and risk management. They also provide consulting and research services.
