Panmure Gordon (UK) Ltd. (PGL) is the stockbroking subsidiary of Panmure Gordon & Co. Ltd. in Great Britain. Headquartered in London, the firm was founded in 2003 and provides corporate finance advice, distributes and trades securities and produces investment research to UK small and mid-cap corporates and investment companies. PGL has access to capital markets via a range of equity and equity-linked products such as IPOs, accelerated book buildings, placings, rights issues, and bought deals. The firm's institutional equities department provides UK-focused research, sales and trading services to institutional investors in the UK, US and Europe.

The Company's principal activity is providing a range of traditional stockbroking services. It is engaged in four principal areas of activity, Corporate Broking, Institutional Broking and Sales, Private Client Stockbroking, and Contracts for Difference. Corporate Broking comprises acting as corporate broker for small and medium sized AIM and PLUS markets traded companies. Institutional Broking and Sales deals for institutional clients and continues to extend the range and depth of its activities in the areas of institutional sales and research (covering the banking, insurance and extractive industry sectors). Private Client Stockbroking is when the Company acts as an advisory investment portfolio manager for private individuals, companies and trusts.Contracts for Difference is a product traded on margin, which allows a client to mirror the performance of an underlying share. The Company has established international offices in Asia, Africa and South America.
