Mr. Tomohiro Shibuya is Director & Head of Research at Epic Partners Investments Co. Ltd & President at Epic Advisors Co..
Mr. Shibuya started his career at Mitsubishi Trust in 1995.
He experienced examination of clients’ financial condition, FX and derivative product as an institutional sale at domestic branch.
In Feb.
1997 at Public Fund Management department, he researched and analyzed the asset allocation model.
In Feb.
2000 he transferred to the Fund Management department.
There, he managed Japanese equity for public and private pension fund especially with quantitative model and stock picking for active management and execution for the basket.
In Feb.
2001 at the Fund Management department, he was an Analyst for Japanese equity.
Visited companies and analyze financial statements to make recommend reports for internal fund managers.
Main responsible sectors are electronic parts,materials, natural resources, paper and pulp.
Mr. Shibuya left Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and joined Epic in Apr.’06.
Mr. Shibuya obtained an M.S.
from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1995.
