Tom Young joined Xelus in 2000 as General Counsel and Secretary.
Prior to joining Xelus he practiced corporate and securities law at several prominent law firms in Western New York.
A native of Jamestown, N.Y., he earned his bachelor's degree in political science summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1977, and his juris doctor from Georgetown University in 1980.
He currently serves as a Director of the Geneseo Foundation, as a member of the Perinton, N.Y., Zoning Board of Appeals and the Perinton Republican Committee.
Additionally, he has served as a member of the United Way of Greater Rochester's Allocations Committee and as a director and secretary of the Lutheran Charities of the Rochester Region.
