Tim Butcher

Mr. Timothy M.
Butcher is an Investment Director at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Ltd.
He joined SWIP in February 1999.
As an Investment Director within the Fixed Income team, he has covered most sectors as the team has evolved in his time at SWIP.
His current sector responsibilities include telecoms & media, utility and property companies.
He also sits on the ABI Bond Committee and represents SWIP in ABI corporate negotiations.
He formally trained in credit at Swiss Bank Corporation before spending nine years within the NatWest Group (County NatWest and NatWest Markets), where he gained extensive experience in corporate lending, debt workout and recovery, and credit rating.
Immediately prior to joining SWIP, he was a Fixed Income Analyst for a proprietary trading desk at Nomura International, covering non-Japanese Asian companies.
Mr. Butcher holds a BA in Economics from Heriot-Watt University.
