Terry M. Winter

Terry M.
Winter has been Executive Vice President of Operations for American Superconductor Corp.
since February 2006.
Mr. Winter is a Director of Trans-Elect, Inc., InfraSource Services, Inc. and the Consortium for Electric Reliability Technology Solutions.
He joined American Superconductor as Executive Vice President of Advanced Grid Solutions in September 2004.
Mr. Winter became Chief Operating Officer of American Superconductor in July 2005.
Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the California Independent System Operator from 1999 to 2004 and Chief Operating Officer from 1997 to 1999.
For 30 years, Mr. Winter held various positions at San Diego Gas & Electric, Salt River Project and Los Angeles Department of Water & Power.
He was Division Manager of San Diego Gas & Electric's Power Operations.
He received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho.
