Steven Garmaise is a managing director and head of Global Equity Research at RBC Capital Markets.
Prior to joining RBC, he served as a director of research at Merrill Lynch, First Marathon Securities, and Midland Walwyn.
Mr. Garmaise began his career at Wood Gundy and First Marathon Securities where he was a top-ranked analyst in transportation, communications/media and special situations.
A chartered financial analyst since 1986, Mr. Garmaise received an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
He is a past director of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts where he assisted in the establishment of the advocacy committee.
