Prior to joining Santa Barbara Asset Management in 2005, Mr. Spencer was a research analyst for Ocean Fund Advisors, LLC, a Santa Monica-based hedge fund, where his responsibilities included both public and private equity investments.
Immediately following business school, Mr. Spencer served as a Management Consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick.
Mr. Spencer earned a BA in Political Science from Amherst College and a MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
