Shawn Ranjbaran

Shawn is a Principal on the Pathfinder team where he will be supporting all aspects of the investment process, from sourcing and diligence to building our investment themes and quarterly business reviews.
Prior to joining Pathfinder, Shawn worked for over a decade in both operating and investing roles.
He spent seven years across Texas Instruments, Google, and Box in technical sales and project management roles.
Following his MBA, Shawn worked for Builders VC, Human Capital, and most recently Mighty Capital, where he was a Senior Associate.
Shawn's professional areas of interest include machine learning, high performance computing, and enterprise SaaS.
Shawn earned his BS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon.
He also holds an MBA from UCLA, where graduated with Honors, focused on entrepreneurship & venture capital, and led the team to 1st Place at the Venture Capital Investment Competition in Silicon Valley (regional finals).
In his spare time, Shawn's interests include chess, billiards, and family time.
