Mr. Probasco founded Livingston Company in July of 2000.
Mr. Probasco began his professional career in Chattanooga with American National Bank in 1977 where he worked in retail, commercial, and bank investments.
Subsequent to the merger of National Bank with Third National Bank Holding Company, he moved to Nashville in 1983 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President with Third National.
His responsibilities included Strategic Planning and Asset/Liability Management.
Mr. Probasco also served as the investment Coordinator for the holding company and managed the fixed income portfolio of the individual banks.
In 1986, Third National merged with Sun Trust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Probasco moved to Atlanta and was promoted to Vice President of the Investment Division.
In 1989, he left Sun Trust and the banking industry to own and operate Georgia Southern Oil, Inc., a convenience store chain.
The company was sold in 1994.
In August 1994, Mr. Probasco purchased Cari’ Fabrics LLC and operated it as chief manager.
Cari’ Fabrics realized an increase in sales from $3 million in 1994 to $5 million for 1999.
Mr. Probasco currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sun Trust Bank, Chattanooga.
Mr. Probasco graduated from the University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977.
