Mr. Mooney, as an owner and Director, was integrally involved in the negotiation and sale of Mooney Chemicals, Inc. (a Cleveland based metal catalyst manufacturer) to a large foreign buyer.
Mr. Mooney joined Mooney Chemicals in 1979, and served in various capacities including VP of Marketing and CFO.
He left Mooney Chemicals in 1987 to acquire Aerosol Systems, Inc., a leading automotive/industrial aerosol custom packager.
As owner and CEO, the Company was ultimately sold to Momentum, Inc. Prior to the time, Mr. Mooney worked for Rohm & Haas, a major international chemical manufacturer.
He was also pilot in the US Air Force – honorably discharged as a Captain.
Mr. Mooney has a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from St. Louis University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
