Robert Baird

Mr. Baird joined RMG in September of 2006 to oversee their women's sports franchise, the Brakettes, and serves as the team's Assistant General Manager and Media Director.
Mr. Baird has been working with the Brakettes since his years as a ball boy at Raybestos Memorial Field in the early 1980's.
He more recently served as head of Brakette Concessions, as well as serving as a special assistant to the General Manager.
A graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Mr. Baird is the radio voice of the Brakettes for both their web broadcasts and airings on WICC-600 AM Bridgeport.
He is also the radio voice of the University of Bridgeport Men 's Basketball on WPKN-89.5 FM Bridgeport.
Mr. Baird received a BA from the University of Bridgeport in 2001 and spent four years as a teacher in the Bridgeport Public Schools system.
He served a 16-week internship in the newsroom at WFAN-660 AM (Sports Radio) New York before serving as Media Director during the Brakettes' inaugural NPF season.
