Richard D. Crawford

Mr. Crawford’s experience includes management positions with major financial service firms, including Citigroup and Dean Witter, and the founding of an internet-based online venture fair service.
Between 1986 and 2004 Mr. Crawford authored 14 technical articles and over 40 copyrighted and numbered Darden Graduate Business School Case Studies and Technical Notes.
He is a noted author and co-author of several books on finance, lending and management.
He continues to teach programs for Darden and author case studies.
Mr. Crawford is on the Volunteer Board of the UVA Art Museum and heads the new Development Committee for the Art Museum.
Mr. Crawford was an Echols Scholar and earned all of his degrees at the University of Virginia; he earned a B.A.
in Economics from the McIntire School of Commerce, an MBA from the Darden School of Business, and a law degree.
He is a Visiting Lecturer at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
He has family in the area and lives in Charlottesville, VA.
