Dr. Pauline Affeldt is a Research Associate in the Department Firms and Markets at the DIW Berlin and at the Technische Universität (TU) Berlin.
She is also Fellow at the Berlin Centre for Consumer Policies (BCCP).
Her research interests are in applied econometrics in the fields of industrial organization, competition policy, and regulation.
She received her PhD in August 2019 from Technische Universität Berlin.
Her dissertation empirically analyses the effectiveness of European merger control.
Her work has been published in The Economic Journal, and the Journal of Competition Law and Economics.
