BNP PARIBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT Luxembourg SA (BNP Luxembourg) is the Luxembourg-based fund administration subsidiary of BNP Paribas Asset Management France SAS, itself a subsidiary of BNP Paribas SA (PA: BNP, ADR: BNPQY) in France. Established in 1988, BNP Luxembourg provides fund administration services to issuers, financial intermediaries and institutional investors. BGL BNP Paribas SA (Private Banking) (BGL BNP-PB) is the Luxembourg-based, majority-owned private banking division of BGL BNP Paribas SA, itself a subsidiary of BNP Paribas SA (XP: BNP) in France. Originally established in 1919 as Banque Générale du Luxembourg, the firm was formerly known as Fortis Banque Luxembourg SA and reverted to their BGL brand in 2009 when the State of Luxembourg became a key shareholder following the collapse of the Fortis group. BGL BNP-PB manages discretionary portfolios for high-net worth individuals and corporate clients, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. Through their network of domestic and international branches the bank provides retail, commercial, merchant and private banking services to clients based in Luxembourg and in neighboring regions of Germany and France. They focus on their cross-border service offering.
