During his several years of experience, he has served in financial positions internal and external to the insurance industry.
At Everest Reinsurance, he was Manager of the Financial Services group responsible for Treasury and Financial Analysis operations.
At The Firemark Group, an insurance research and money management boutique, he was responsible for insurance research and security selection of its insurance sector funds.
Mr. Pirsos received his MBA from Pace University studying Finance and Portfolio Management and is a graduate of New York University having majored in Finance and International Economics.
He has been a commentator of insurance stocks on CNBC, CNN, and Bloomberg television as well as other business news media, including The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.
In 2002, he was ranked the leading insurance analyst by the Wall Street Journal for stock performance covering the property/casualty industry.
In 2002, Mr. Pirsos was ranked the leading analyst for stock performance among over 3,000 sell-side analysts by Starmine Corp.
In 1999, he was ranked the leading insurance analyst by the Wall Street Journal for earnings estimates covering the property/casualty industry.
