Profile

Dr. Wang, Ph.D., joined Farmhouse Equity Research, LLC as an Analyst in 2005.
His coverage includes the biotech sector, with an emphasis on biopharmaceutical and vaccine companies.
Prior to joining Farmhouse, Dr. Wang was Licensing Associate at the Office of Industrial Liaison at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC.
He successfully licensed several of Mount Siani’s proprietary technologies and products to some leading biotech companies in the US and Europe.
The licensed products included monoclonal antibody against Alzheimer’s disease, monoclonal antibody against breast cancer, and a transgenic ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) mouse model.
He also liaised in patent evaluation, patent application and prosecution.
Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Wang spent two years as New Business Development Manager at Protein Sciences Corporation, a private biotech company specializing in vaccine development and manufacturing.
He was in charge of Protein Sciences’ contract service business, and had worked with many clients in both of the academia and industry research community.
He was Principle Investigator in a biodefense SBIR grant funded by DOD/CBD (Department of Defense).
Dr. Wang has a Ph.D.
in biochemistry and molecular biology from Rutgers University, and an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
He majored in Corporate Finance at Cornell, and has passed the CFA level I examination.
