Cheung, CFA MBA, is a Senior Vice President & Chief Investment Officer of Capital Markets at Washington Capital Management, Inc. He is on the Board of Directors at WaCap - O Real Estate Debt Fund III Feeder LLC, WaCap - O Real Estate Income Fund Feeder LLC and WaCap-O Real Estate Opportunity Fund VIII Feeder LLC.
He began his career in fixed income portfolio management in 1984, with experience including direct responsibility for investing $26 billion at General Electric Financial Assurance between 2000-2002 and responsibility for $8 billion of investments for the State of Alaska from 1989-2000.
He received his BS degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an MBA from Texas Christian University.
He earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1988 and is a current member of the CFA Society of Seattle.
He sits on the Investment Committee for the Seattle Colleges Foundation.
