Mr. McNeil graduated from Dalhousie University with both a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degree in 1992 and an MBA (Finance) in 1995.
He earned his CGA designation in 2003 and successfully completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) program in 2005.
He began his career in 1995 with Sears Canada in corporate accounting and joined RBC Financial Group in 1996 as an Analyst in the Financial Institutions & Trade Business.
From 1998 to 2005 he worked as Business Unit Comptroller for both the Global Equity and Alternative Investments division of RBC Capital Markets and was appointed Director in 2002, providing strategic financial oversight to a diverse group of securities businesses.
In September 2005, Mr. McNeil joined Polar's executive team as Vice-President of Marketing & product Development.
