Matthew W. Lauer

Matthew Lauer joined Oakwood Capital Management as an Equity Portfolio Associate and Securities Trader.
Mr. Lauer is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, where he earned his Finance degree, graduating with high honors.
Prior to beginning his degree requirements, Mr. Lauer began his career in the financial services industry at Merrill Lynch, where he worked with a Financial Advisor and assisted him with analysis of client portfolios, and made recommendations on appropriate investment strategies.
He then worked at various positions in the retail and insurance industries while completing his degree, bringing an attention to detail and a high quality of client service in these jobs.
Most recently, Mr. Lauer was with White and Company Insurance in Santa Monica, where he served as an Account Manager, fulfilling clients' complex insurance needs.
Mr. Lauer, in both his work and educational experiences, has gained superior computer skills, which will be put to good use in the Oakwood Equity Department.
