Mr. Matthew Lee is Head of Equities & Portfolio Manager at Manulife Asset Management.
Prior to joining Alliance in 1997, Mr. Lee was a director of National Mutual Funds Management (Asia) Limited responsible for managing a wide range of Asian funds including institutional accounts, regional and single country funds and listed closed-end vehicles.
He jointed National Mutual Funds Management (Asia) Limited, a member of the AXA group, in 1994 as an Assistant Director and became a Director in 1996.
Previously Mr. Lee worked for James Capel & Co. in both London and Hong Kong and was responsible for sales of Asian equities with a specialization in the Greater China region.
Prior to that Mr. Lee was employed by the Credit Suisse Group to manage the CS Tiger Fund, an open-ended unit trust investing in Southeast Asian equities, based in London.
Mr. Matthew Lee began his investment career with Schroders Asia Limited in Hong Kong before moving to London to join Credit Suisse.
Mr. Lee holds a B.A.
