Mark Scott joined VoiceGenie in January 2002, and serves as VP of R&D and CTO, focusing on the technical direction of the company, and on the architecture and design of its products.
Prior to joining VoiceGenie, Mark served as VP of Engineering for ePHONE Telecom Inc., a publicly traded voice-over-IP telecommunications services provider, and as Chief IP Architect for Comdial Corporation which joined with the acquisition by Comdial of Array Telecom, a voice-over-IP startup in which Mark served as Chief Architect since its founding in 1996.
Mark holds a B.A.Sc in Computer Engineering (Software Engineering Option), finishing at the top of his class at University of Waterloo.
He is also the inventor of 5 pending patents in the area of VoIP
